Emberfall Frontier – Privacy Policy
Emberfall Frontier (“the game”) is published by Lucas Capital Partners, LLC, doing business as Carbon Gamer (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what the game collects, why, and the choices you have. We wrote it to be short and plain. If anything is unclear, email us at team@lucascapitalpartners.com.
What we collect
- Account identifiers. When you play as a guest, the game sends an identifier from your device so you can return to the same base. If you secure your account, we store your email address and a hashed password (we never store the password itself).
- Game data. Your base, troops, commanders, progress, battle reports, commander name, alliance membership, and the in-game messages you send in alliance chat.
- Technical data. Our servers record basic request information, such as your IP address and the time of a request, to run the game, prevent abuse and fix problems.
- Purchases (when offered). In-app purchases are processed by Google Play. We receive a confirmation of what was bought; we never see or store your payment card details.
What we do not do
- We do not show advertising and do not use advertising or tracking SDKs.
- We do not sell or rent your personal information.
- We do not use third-party analytics in the game.
How we use it
Only to run the game: keep your account and progress, match you with other players on the shared world map, deliver chat, keep the game fair (for example, detecting cheating), answer support requests, and keep the service secure.
Who can see it
- Other players see what any online strategy game shows: your commander name, base location on the map, power, headquarters level, alliance tag, and what you write in alliance chat.
- Our hosting provider (Hetzner Online GmbH, data centres in Germany) stores the game’s data on our behalf.
- We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect players and the service from fraud or abuse.
Where it is stored and for how long
The game’s servers are in Germany (European Union). We keep your data while your account exists. When you delete your account it is removed from the live game immediately; copies in our daily backups are erased within 14 days. Server request logs are kept for up to 30 days.
Your choices and rights
- Delete your account at any time in the game (Profile → Delete account), or see how to request deletion without the game.
- Access or correct your data, or ask questions about it, by emailing team@lucascapitalpartners.com. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or US state privacy laws), you may have further rights; we honour those requests too.
Children
The game is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
All traffic between the game and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords are stored only as secure hashes. Access to the servers is limited to us.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above, and tell players in the game if the change is significant.
